Team Programs
Feeling inspired by our mission?
IVVO would love to host your team members on one of our next trips and we would be happy to also customize an entire trip specifically for your hospitals.
We collaborate with local veterinarians, animal welfare organizations, and community leaders to ensure every trip is ethical, impactful, and sustainable.
We have now completed 7 of these campaigns over the last four years and the team members are lined up to volunteer for the next experience.
So how can this impact your clinics? It is no secret that some of the biggest stumbling blocks for veterinary hospitals these days are staff retention, acquisition of new talent and issues surrounding team mental health
Another unexpected benefit from these trips is that we have seen our partners hospitals and clinics no longer struggle to hire new veterinarians/RVTs now that the word is out that they offer these types of programs to their team.
Why do we do these trips?
In 2020, Scott started rewarding his team members with paid trips to Coastal Ecuador where they would assist in 2 day sterilization campaigns and also get to have a little relaxation time in a tropical paradise. Not only did these programs turn out to be a win-win for his people and the local coastal communities, but he never anticipated the long-lasting positive effects these trips would have on them and himself.
Being involved in these campaigns “filled their buckets”! The experience solidly bonded them with other team members and allowed them to give something back to the profession that they have worked so hard for. To say they were proud of their efforts and grateful for the experience, would be an understatement.
These efforts have greatly improved the pet overpopulation issue on the coast and many of them are now considered local heroes.
